‘Accountability' is the third module in the Financial Management Awareness Training (FMAT) course which aims to increase the public sector’s awareness of the government’s Financial Management Framework and its principles. The Accountability module addresses the budget accountability side of the Financial Management Framework including evaluating, reporting and monitoring. FMAT is targeted at the non-financial public servant.
