As we approach the commencement of the WA Procurement Rules and Procurement Act 2020 on 1 June 2021, the Department of Finance’s Procurement Reform team will be delivering further information sessions for public sector agencies. These sessions are designed to: • reaffirm your understanding of material changes between the State Supply Commission policies and those under the new procurement framework; • provide information on updates made to Tenders WA; • provide an overview of the new Social Procurement Framework; • answer any questions you may have about the procurement reform program; and • enable you to be well placed for the new procurement framework.
